The backrest is a single molded piece of PP and fiberglass curved to the neck and spine, covered in 3D flocked nylon mesh that grips rather than slides. An aluminum lumbar track sits behind it, sturdier than plastic and rust-proof. One lever handles height and rocking, over an SGS-certified Class 3 gas lift and a nylon five-star base that passed BIFMA static pressure testing.
