The curved headboard on this king bed frame has a soft wave shape that stands out from the usual straight-across panel. It's upholstered in olive green chenille fabric, which has a slight texture to it and resists pilling and fading better than a lot of other fabrics. Underneath the headboard padding is plywood and an 8cm layer of high-density foam, so it holds up if you like to sit up and read against it.
This is a wood king size bed frame at its core: solid wood legs support the corners for extra stability, and 12 hardwood slats span the base to hold your mattress directly, no box spring required. The frame is rated for up to 800 lbs and uses velcro straps between the slats and frame to cut down on squeaking. Assembly is required, with all hardware and instructions included.
